In this section:

Open an account. You may open an account by mail, by phone, or online. The following steps preview our online process, but they will be similar regardless of how you choose to open your account.

  1. Select the account type (such as individual, joint, IRA, etc.).
  2. Enter your personal contact information (including joint or custodial information, if applicable).
  3. Provide the account and routing numbers of the bank account from which you’d like to pay for your shares. (Please note, this must be a checking or savings account, not a mutual fund or brokerage account.)
  4. Once you have fully researched our funds and have chosen the fund or funds that meet your investment objectives, enter how much you’d like to invest in each. You’ll also specify if you’d like to receive distributions in your bank account or reinvest them in your Wasatch Funds account.
  5. You may choose to participate in our Automatic Investment Plan (AIP) which automatically deducts a specified amount from your bank account on a regular basis. Automatic investing is optional; if you do choose to use AIP, your initial minimum investment is lowered to $1,000.

Wasatch Funds will send you regular statements and fund literature via mail or e-documents. Should you wish to change your investments, you can easily do so by accessing your account online or by calling Shareholder Services at 800.551.1700.
