Joint Account

A Joint Account from Wasatch Funds is flexible, like an individual account, but it is owned by two or more people. It allows any of the account holders to conduct transactions and manage the investments. Contributions may be made at any time, for any purpose, and are not subject to restrictions (such as retirement age or using funds for educational purposes). This kind of account is subject to tax on the contributions you make as well as the earnings that grow in the account.

Tax Considerations: Contributions are taxed
Earnings that grow in the account are taxed
