Wasatch International Opportunities Fund wins Another Lipper Fund Award

International Growth Fund Also Wins Lipper Award

Salt Lake City , March 24, 2011 – For the second year in a row, the Wasatch International Opportunities Fund (WAIOX) has been awarded a Lipper Fund Award. The 2011 Lipper Fund Award designates the Fund as the #1 International Small/Mid-Cap Growth Fund based on consistent (risk-adjusted) return for the five years ended 12/31/10 (out of 67 funds).

The Wasatch International Opportunities Fund is focused primarily on lesser known micro cap companies (under $1B in market capitalization) in foreign developed and emerging markets. Portfolio managers Blake Walker and Roger Edgley launched the Fund six years ago and continue as the Fund’s lead managers today.

Also recognized with a 2011 Lipper Fund Award was the Wasatch International Growth Fund (WAIGX) as the #1 International Small/Mid-Cap Growth Fund based on consistent (risk-adjusted) return for the three years ended 12/31/10 (out of 75 funds). The Wasatch International Growth Fund invests primarily in smaller cap growth companies (under $5B in market capitalization) in foreign developed and emerging markets. The Fund is eight years old and is also managed by Roger Edgley.

“We think there’s something special about the international small cap space” said Roger Edgley, Director of International Research at Wasatch. “It is fertile ground as we search for the World’s Best Growth Companies (WBGC). The Wasatch hands on, collaborative investment approach works really well to uncover what we believe to be better, and lesser known, investment opportunities.”
