Landscape

The Wasatch International Small Cap Growth Portfolio invests in small companies outside the U.S.

About This Portfolio

Inception:4/17/2002
Net Assets:$2,227.4 (million) as of 03/31/14
Account Minimum:$10 million
Objective:

The International Small Cap Growth Portfolio seeks to provide long-term growth of capital by investing primarily in foreign growth companies. The Portfolio wil invest in foreign companies domiciled in developed markets and will invest in at least five of the countries included in the MSCI AC World ex-USA Small Cap Index.

Strategy:

This Portfolio focuses on smaller companies that we believe have great growth potential. We do not limit investments to specific countries or sectors, but look for companies in what we believe are the fastest-growing sectors of the economy. Holdings cover a wide range of small companies of less than $5 billion in market capitalization at time of purchase. Typically, 20% to 50% of the Portfolio’s total assets will be invested in emerging markets. The International Small Cap Growth Portfolio pursues an aggressive investment strategy designed for long-term investors who can tolerate the greater risks and volatility that are inherent with investing in international growth companies.

Compared to Other Wasatch Portfolios:
This Portfolio invests in larger companies than International Micro Cap and is less aggressive, focused more on steady growth.
