Objective:

The Small Cap Core Growth Portfolio is a steady, small cap growth portfolio aiming to provide long-term growth of capital. It invests in smaller companies and is the most valuation sensitive of the Wasatch small cap portfolios.

Strategy:

This portfolio invests primarily in stable, growing small and mid-sized companies with market capitalizations of less than $5 billion at the time of purchase. The Small Cap Core Growth portfolio usually includes 50 to 80 high-quality companies that allow investors to participate in rising markets while affording some protection in falling markets. In a nutshell, the portfolio seeks quality growth companies at a good value.

Compared to Other Wasatch Portfolios:
Invests in slightly larger and less aggressive small capitalization companies than Small Cap Growth.
