Wasatch Small Cap Value Portfolio

  • print

The Wasatch Small Cap Value Portfolio is focused on undervalued small companies with future growth potential.

About This Portfolio

Net Assets:$1,089.0 (million) as of 07/31/19
Account Minimum:$1 million

The Small Cap Value Portfolio invests in smaller companies to achieve long-term growth of capital. Income is a secondary objective, but only when consistent with long-term growth of capital. Currently, we do not expect this Portfolio to generate substantial income.

This Portfolio invests primarily in small companies with market capitalizations of less than $3 billion at the time of purchase. We look for companies whose stocks we believe are undervalued but have significant potential for appreciation. The Small Cap Value Portfolio may invest in growth companies if we believe the valuation is sufficiently discounted to the projected long-term earnings growth rate.
Compared to Other Wasatch Portfolios:
This Portfolio invests in larger companies than Micro Cap Value and is less aggressive.
